Prudence Gourguechon

Prudence Gourguechon, MD, is the past president of the American Psychoanalytic Association. She is nationally known as a commentator who uses psychoanalytic concepts to explain a wide range of phenomena in politics, popular culture, and news events, as well as television, books, and movies. She has been quoted in the New Yorker, the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, CNN, the Chicago Tribune, and other major media. Dr. Gourguechon has a practice in consultation to business, political campaigns, and marketing/advertising, as well as a clinical practice in psychiatry and psychoanalysis in Chicago.
