Some worlds are larger than their creators.

Middle Earth is probably the classic example; the world Tolkien brought to life in Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit carries on though Tolkien himself does not. On the necessarily finite details of the framework he provided has been hung years of thought and study, decades of imagining. Books, films. Millions of readers’ dreams.

This year, thanks of Friend of Smart Pop Jamie Chambers, we’ll be front and audience-left-of-center in the exhibit hall, at Booth #4300.

We’re excited about this for multiple reasons:

1. The company (we’re sharing space with Jamie’s Signal Fire Studios and Dead Gentleman Productions)
2. We’ll be only twenty feet from Starbucks
3. We’ll be a lot easier for you to find!

As you may already know, we’re publishing a collection of essays on Ender’s Game in February 2013, edited by Orson Scott Card. (You can find out more about the contents and sign up for news and updates at our book page.)

Alongside those essays, we’re putting together some Q&As with Orson Scott Card to add throughout the book. Why is the Battle Room a cube? Why did the military recruit their soldiers as children? How does the queen survive until Ender finds her?
