Wind Goodfriend, PhD, is an associate professor of psychology at Buena Vista University. She earned her PhD in social psychology in 2004 from Purdue University. In her final year of graduate school, Dr. Goodfriend received both the “Outstanding Teacher of the Year Award” and the “Outstanding Graduate Student of the Year Award” for her research. She was named Faculty Member of the Year at Buena Vista University in 2008 and again in 2011. In addition to her work as a university professor, Dr. Goodfriend is the Principal Investigator for the Institute for the Prevention of Relationship Violence.
