Sandra Yingling, PhD, derives great joy from giving advice. She learned early in life that not everyone derives great joy from receiving advice, and thus she quickly developed a remarkable degree of impulse control. She earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from New York University and was a research scientist at Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons. She continues to conduct research (and offer advice) as a consultant specializing in the development of resilient leaders and their teams.
