Kim Paffenroth

Kim Paffenroth is a professor of religious studies at Iona College. He has written several books on theology and the Bible, and, since 2006, has turned his analysis more toward the zombie genre. His examination of Romero’s zombie films, Gospel of the Living Dead: George Romero’s Visions of Hell on Earth (Baylor, 2006), won the Bram Stoker Award. He has also written several zombie novels, including Dying to Live and Valley of the Dead. Online at
