Diana Peterfreund is the author of the Secret Society Girl series, as well as Rampant and Ascendant, two young adult fantasies about killer unicorns. She was raised in Florida and graduated from Yale University in 2001 with degrees in Geology and Literature. A former food critic and an avid traveler,
