Welcome, intern Veronica!

Meet our new fall intern, Veronica! You may see her around the blog in the next few months, so we wanted to introduce her. See our short welcome Q&A with Veronica below.


Q. Tell us a little about yourself!

A. I’m a junior at Emerson College, majoring in Writing, Literature, and Publishing, but I am originally from a small town in Texas. I am a huge fan of comics, video games, movies, and, obviously, books! The dream is to work with comics and graphic novels, bake lots of cupcakes, and own at least two corgis.

Q. What’s your favorite Smart Pop title?

A. The Unofficial Mad Men Cookbook. It combines two of my favorite things–Mad Men and cooking!

Comic-Con Freebie Giveaway

One reason we get so excited to attend San Diego Comic-Con every July is that there are cool freebies being given away everywhere (they even give you giant bags for carrying around all of your loot!). Not getting to hunt for freebies is also one of the biggest bummers about not being able to attend, so we thought we’d bring the con to those of you who couldn’t make it, by giving away some of the best stuff we found at SDCC 2012.
